Meet Nichole

Hi! I'm Nichole, or Nik, owner and hiker of dogs at Barkcountry Hounds. I've had and been around dogs my entire life. I absolutely love dogs and can't image life without them! Up until recently, I had 4 dogs. Two were rescues, one was a craigslist special and then came along the Saint Bernard. I currently have a Saint, Fernie, and my little rescue chihuhua mut, Finn. Or as I like to call them, the "F Team". Along with dogs and animals in general, I'm passionate about hiking and exploring the mountains.

After a major life change, I needed to redirect and figure out something new to do with my life. Thats when it dawned on me that I should combine the 2 things I love the most; dogs and hiking!
